TIO Stadium

TIO Stadium, previously known as Marrara Stadium, is the premier outdoor stadium in the Northern Territory and is located within the Marrara Sports Complex. Built in 1991, the stadium features the Maurice Rioli grandstand which stretches around the wing and seats 4,550 spectators and includes corporate facilities. The ground has a total capacity of around 12,500.

The playing arena is surrounded by a grass embankment and there is also a temporary grandstand in the forward pocket which can seat around 500 fans. The Michael Long Centre is located at one end of the ground behind the goals and the venue also has floodlights which were installed in 2004 and are of TV broadcast standard. The stadium has hosted at least one AFL premiership match per season since 2004, one NRL premiership game per season since 2012 and regularly hosts pre-season AFL fixtures as well as local NTFL games. Occasional ODI and Test cricket matches have also been played at Marrara featuring the Australian cricket team - most recently back in 2008.
