Queensland State Netball Centre

Located in Nathan next to the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre, the new 5,000-capacity Queensland State Netball Centre (QSNC) is a purpose-built netball facility to support players and teams at all levels. The centre is the new permanent home of Super Netball team Queensland Firebirds and officially opened in March 2019.

Features of the centre include a sunken show court with a 5000-seat capacity from where major game events will be broadcast. It includes permanent seating, with retractable seating on either side to float in for events. There is also a cafe and food and beverage outlets, player and umpire changing facilities for both community and elite athletes, gymnasium, sports science and sports medicine facility for elite athlete activities and administration offices and parking facilities for Netball Queensland.

The venue has also been referred to as Brisbane Arena and will likely get a new name in the near future, with Queensland Netball on the hunt for a naming-rights sponsor.
