Titanium Security Arena


Titanium Security Arena, formerly known as Adelaide Arena, is a privately owned, multipurpose indoor facility located on Crittenden Road at Findon. Home of NBL club Adelaide 36ers as well as the sports local grassroots body Basketball SA, the venue is widely has historically been considered the home of basketball in South Australia.

Built in 1991 at a cost of nearly $16 million, Adelaide Arena replaced the 3,000-seat capacity Apollo Stadium and while its core business is basketball, the venue also has been used for various other sporting competitions such as Netball, Gymnastics and Inline Hockey.

The versatility of the Dome’s main arena, which can be set up for floor space of over 2100m2 as well as the numerous function rooms within the facility means the venue can be used for any type of event large or small. The capacity for sports events is 8,000 with the Adelaide 36ers regularly pushing that number. The NBL club announced following the 2018/19 season that they would be moving their home games to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre as of the 2019/20 season, however they will continue to use the venue as a training and administration base.
