Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre

The Quaycentre (formerly known as the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre) was one of the first sporting facilities to be built at the Homebush Bay site in 1984, long before the idea of any Olympic bid for Sydney was conceived. Situated 400 metres south of Stadium Australia, the Sports Centre was used for table tennis and taekwondo during the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

The indoor facility has a fixed seating capacity of 3854 and an additional 1152 retractable seats enabling a capacity of around 4,500 for sports such as Basketball and Netball. The centre is the home venue of Super Netball teams NSW Swifts and Giants Netball, who play the majority of their home games at the venue. It previously hosted NBL matches for the West Sydney Razorbacks.

The venue has also been used for events such as trade shows during its 20-year history and features a Hall of Champions exhibition containing some rare sporting memorabilia dating back to the late 1800s. Adjacent to the State Sports Centre is the State Hockey Centre.

Previously known as the State Sports Centre, it was given its first naming-rights sponsor in late 2017, with national cleaning, recycling and maintenance management company, Quayclean, securing the rights.
