Silverdome

The Silverdome is an indoor entertainment venue in Launceston, a short distance from the city centre. The venue hosts a wide variety of sports and entertainment events and has an easily adaptable seating arrangement, with a maximum seating capacity of 4,000 for sports events.

The Silverdome features an indoor cycling velodrome, a sprung timber sports floor for basketball and netball, and enough space to accommodate exhibitions and conventions of all sizes. It plays host to some NBL home games for the Tasmania JackJumpers each year as well as Super Netball matches for the Collingwood Magpies. It was the home of former Tasmanian-based NZNBL team, the Southern Huskies.
